In my family, we have had lots of pets. Funny thing is, only one really kept with us, and that’s our dog, Rolly. She is getting old now, I believe it has been 13 years next August. I also own a fish and his name is Comet. I love them both very much. I must admit though, I dearly want to get a corn snake.

Friends. A funny word, really. I can say I have alot of mates, but not friends. There are only a few people that influence what I do, and for this I call them my friends. In saying this, I have 4 friends. In total, I love them very much, but their decisions confuse me and I wish I could understand them.

Today, I recieved a hug. Not just any hug. Not just a “boo” hug. It was a “I really want to hug you” hug. Today, when I recieved this hug, I was struck. I had never had a hug like this. I was somewhat scared, and overwhelmed for just a moment. Dare I say, I must have needed that hug. To that friend that gave me this hug, I thank you very much.
